SUCCEEDING IN A MODERN ENVIRONMENT
In order to provide all its students with a comfortable and inspirational environment, Savremena International School will be opening it’s doors for the National and the Combined programme in September 2016 at a new location.
The new address for the students in these two programmes is 5 Masarikova Street, on the third floor of the Beograđanka building, while teaching in the Cambridge programme will continue at the current location, Vračar, at 45 Šumatovačka Street.
A modern environment at an exclusive location
Savremena International School strives to provide only the best for its students, which is why the new location, much like the current one, is in the very heart of Belgrade, in a building that is a recognisable symbol of our capital. The School’s interior features modern design modelled after Google’s working space, and right upon entry, at the reception as you talk to our friendly staff you will be able to enjoy the pleasant atmosphere of Savremena International School.
An interior that inspires
The new, creative and interactive space of Savremena International School motivates students and teachers to achieve excellent academic results and to develop both on a professional and personal scale. The use of glass in office and classroom design was prompted by the desire for transparency in our work, to show that our teachers are always available and open to help at any time and to encourgae our students to connect with each other.
Interactive classrooms with a number of new gadgets
Given that Savremena International School is well-known for its Intelligent Classroom concept, our new space is nothing short of that, boasting state-of-the-art devices including: interactive whiteboards, live stream cameras, Samsung Gear VR, Amazon Echo, tablets and laptop devices, as well as other educational gadgets that will stimulate students to acquire knowledge in a modern way and to improve the skills they need for the 21st century.
A spacious amphitheatre with vast technological potential
A new and spacious amphitheatre equipped with modern devices, perfect for various kinds of lectures and school events is able to seat a large number of students at interactive workshops, guest speeches and educational seminars.
Learning Centre and library – an oasis for young researchers
Savremena International School encourages its students to always aspire towards learning and development. This is all made fun and easy through the creatively-designed Learning Centre as well as the modern library and the relaxed atmosphere of our learning area.
A gym boasting modern exercise equipment
Savremena International School’s new building, in addition to offering a modern space conducive to learning and socialising will also have a modern gym equiped with excellent fitness gear where our PE classes will take place. The gym can also be used for afternoon recreation so that our students can stay fit and healthy.
A comfortable school restaurant for maximum enjoyment
During their break time, students will be able to eat their lunch at the school restaurant and enjoy the tasty meals in their comfortable seats as they unwind in the relaxing ambiance of the restaurant.
A creative space for relaxing and socialising
Before, after and between their lessons, students can prepare for their upcoming classes, relax and chat to each other in the open space for relaxing and socialising. The creative and inspirational environment is easily recognised by its futuristic transparent dome as well as the excuisite design of the hang-out areas, all of course boasting interesting details and the latest gadgets technology has to offer.
