Savremena’s student Tamara Jakuš has accomplished her greatest achievement since she started competing in modern ballet.
With the Serbian national team, Tamara won as many as three gold medals at the international dance competition IDO World Championship, Ossa World Dance Week 2017, held 2–10 December in Poland.
Beating personal records
Tamara participated in a big dance event gathering national teams from 30 countries and as many as 4000 young dancers. Along with 50 other members of the Serbian national team, Savremena’s student represented our country and contributed to an unprecedented achievement.
The modern ballet dancer and her dance group shone in three categories.
For their “Don’t believe everything you read” choreography in the Modern & Contemporary Dance Formations category, and their “Behind the scene” choreography in the Modern & Contemporary Dance Groups category, the Serbian national team was awarded first place.
Another gold medal came for their nearly impeccable choreography “Freedom” in the Jazz Dance Formations category. This is the biggest success so far for Savremena’s student, which opens many new doors to new challenges and records.
Congratulations to Tamara on her triple gold! We are looking forward to her new victories!
