About the lecture

While Biology and Chemistry teachers discussed contraception methods and STIs, sociology students conducted a research – covert observation – on other students and they observed the behaviour of students in a group. They observed the behaviour of male students when the topic was being presented and the students’ level of attention during the lesson. As a result, they made a Google Form which will be distributed as a survey among all students.

At the same time, the English teacher observed and later discussed the differences in register and the use of scientific vocabulary. Together with the students, she also discussed the formation of scientific words.

The Physics teacher had a discourse on how the development of technology improved the application of physical methods in biology. They focused on the use of microscopy in determining the best samples for IVF (in vitro fertilisation).

Why is health education important?

In a climate of reduced access to sexual health services, it is more important than ever that young people receive adequate education about sexual health. It motivates the students to improve and maintain their health, prevent disease, and reduce risky behaviour.

International School Savremena understands the modern society we live in, which is why it promotes the health and well-being of students. Healthy students are better learners, and academic achievement provides a lifetime of health benefits.
