On Monday, International School students attended STUDY ABROAD mini FAIR, an education fair held exclusively for them. The event was organised online, with the support of Via Academica, which specialises in education abroad and professional career orientation for students. Via Academica has a partner network of more than 100 universities abroad, and they cover all the study fields. Among these prestigious universities, the International School is the only partner in secondary education.
Learning about numerous universities
During the whole-day session, International School students had the opportunity to find out all the key information about studies abroad, how to prepare themselves for this life journey, and how to choose the right university for themselves.
They met eight foreign university representatives who provided them with detailed information on study options and scholarships:
- Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore Italy
- Karl de Grote University of Applied Sciences – KDG Belgium
- Swiss Education Group Switzerland
- American College of Thessaloniki – ACT Greece
- Burgundy School of Business, France
- Jacobs University, Germany
- LUISS University, Italy
- Istituto Europeo di Design – IED Italy, Spain.
The parents learnt how to help their child choose the best university
This wasn’t just a regular education fair. The International School and Via Academica know how important and stressful the admission process can be for the parents as well, so a special session was organised for them. They used this opportunity to learn about how to help their children make the right choice when it comes to studies abroad.
Even though this fair came at the very beginning of the second series of mock exams, knowing that the International School is the only school in the region to conduct such an event, the students showed great interest in attending it. Once again the International School highlighted the importance of making the right choices when it comes to the future careers of its students.
