At a science competition held in May, International School students achieved fantastic success – out of the 30 students who competed in the international StemCo competition, 22 of them received gold, silver and bronze awards in mathematics, physics, chemistry and biology, as well as honourable mentions.
In each subject, the students received 40 multiple choice questions. Given that these were problem questions, the students weren’t able to simply look up correct answers. These competitions have shown that International School students not only have remarkable science skills, but they also possess the ability to solve problem tasks.
International School students shine in all areas
The students were given 10 junior and 12 senior category certificates, as well as detailed reports on the areas and subjects in which they competed. Some students obtained more than one certificate, since there was a possibility to apply in several subjects. These certificates and
reports are very important for students’ portfolios and college enrolment!
Our Mina and Lana among the best in the world
A very special shout out goes to Mina Pavlović and Lana Lukić! Mina won a gold award in biology in the junior category, which placed her among the top 5% students in the world, while Lana won a silver award in Mathematics and became one of the best 10% students in the world.
Congratulations to our students on their incredible knowledge and skills. With their results and talent, we can be sure that the future of science is in safe hands!
