Year 10 students, along with their Digital Media and Design and English Language teachers, visited the Faculty of Contemporary Arts to go deeper into the understanding of creativity, knowledge and aesthetics.
The students were guests in painting classes, talked to the experts in graphic design, saw what designer portfolios look like first hand, experienced the world of game development and game design through an engaging and interactive visit to the faculty’s gaming studio and, as the final activity, visited a furniture design workshop.
Bringing art and technology together
The Faculty of Contemporary Arts is a unique faculty of performing and applied arts. It has formed a great number of successful and renowned artists, known not only in the region, but also in the world’s preeminent art centers.
Faculty of Contemporary Arts’ programs were created based on the vision of a better, more efficient higher education, while the teachers, important artists recognized worldwide, constitute the teaching elite in art education thanks to their dedication to high-quality, interactive ways of transferring their knowledge and skills.
The visit was not only educational and informative; it also served to spark the students’ interest in contemporary arts. They left feeling enriched with knowledge and experience, but also with a number of questions that will be answered in upcoming visits.
