International School students took part in a fun and interesting video project organised by their German teacher. Taking the role of tour guides, the students visited some of Belgrade’s sights and presented them in German.
They prepared for this role by creating a presentation entitled “Belgrad und seine Sehenswürdigkeiten” (Belgrade and its sights). As real tour guides, the students went on a tour around parts of Belgrade with the best atmosphere, applying excellent German skills in their newly-found role!
An unusual tour around Belgrade
As tour guides, the students presented important sights in Belgrade to each other, which made this project even more interesting!
The first stop was St Sava’s Church, presented by Lana Lukić, after which Grigor Pantelić talked about Kalemegdan. Next was Mina Pavlović and her presentation on the largest and oldest museum in Belgrade – the National Museum. After Helena Čalić and Lana Lukić presented the Old Palace together, Sergije Stojanović Louis talked about Belgrade in general, helping all those imaginary students from Germany experience our charming capital through the lens of a local.
Given that our students liked the idea of learning a foreign language in this fashion, we can expect many more similar projects in the future.
Check out the amazing presentation our students have prepared about Belgrade sights. Enjoy!
