International School students have always stood out when it comes to helping individuals and institutions. This time, some of the members of LINK kidZ & Youth Without Borders Community Club decided to start their involvement and personal engagement in Red Cross “Stari Grad”.
Our students are always ready to help
The leader of this activity, Year 12 student, Tijana Bugarčić, together with her schoolmates Mia Aleksić, Biljana Jović, Tiana Đuranović, Mina Perović, Lazar Virijević, Tara Tomović, Emelyn Pena Ruiz, Anna Golubkova and Isidora Šušović participated in activities related to diabetes prevention. They all assisted in voluntary blood donation, took part in “Promotion of health – environment” training and held a workshop in “Mihajlo Petrović Alas” primary school where they promoted humane and ethical values.
International School students, as always, are working on raising social awareness, and by volunteering at Red Cross they showed that they are always ready to help. Together with 60,000 other Red Cross volunteers, International School students worked on promoting mutual understanding, friendship and cooperation.
