Science teacher Mihajlo Karna surprised Year 7 students by bringing some of the lab equipment to their class. Mr Karna wanted to teach students how to use the laboratory equipment.

What can you see under the microscope

At the beginning of the class, the students learned about samples, and how to prepare them for microscopic examination. They also discussed the different things they can see when they observe different samples, and how different chemicals affect the given samples.

As the class was coming to an end, the students were able to prepare the samples on their own, they learned about different types of microorganisms they see and how to differentiate them.

In this way, the students experienced something different, which could affect their interests and lead to successful careers in the science world!
