Accompanied by their Digital Media and Design teacher and the School Life Coordinator, International School Year 12 and Year 13 students visited the Museum of Science and Technology.

Spirit of the time before the Internet

Ms Lora and Ms Neda took the students who attend the course Digital Media and Design to see the exhibition called “Leta pre neta” which gave them a glimpse of the time before the Internet and the importance of technical devices that were once in daily use, which children today mostly use through mobile phone apps.

The exhibition has a practical, educational and entertaining character and the students had an opportunity to type on a typewriter, see how the first photographs were made, and what the first televisions and music boxes looked like.

Some of the students saw certain technical devices for the first time at the exhibition, but all of them could definitely experience what the years before the Internet were like.
