School stories

This week Lower Secondary students had a special twist to their PE classes – they took to the ice! Swapping their usual sports hall for an ice rink, they had the chance to develop their skating skills, improve balance and coordination, and, most importantly, have fun with their classmates.

Laughter and excitement filled the rink as students glided, twirled, and occasionally wobbled on the ice. For some, this was their first time skating, while others confidently showcased their skills. Regardless of experience, everyone enjoyed the challenge and the joy of moving freely on the ice.

Moments like these provide a refreshing break from academic responsibilities. Not only does ice skating enhance physical fitness, but it also fosters resilience, perseverance, and teamwork – values that are important both on and off the ice.

Our students left the rink with big smiles on their faces, new skills, and wonderful memories. We look forward to more engaging and dynamic PE activities in the future!
