In celebration of Earth Day, International School is launching a unique challenge for primary school students in Belgrade – “Eco Innovators of Belgrade.”
The competition invites young innovators to contribute to environmental protection by creating solutions to major ecological challenges.
Participants are invited to design and present a project in English, focused on one of the following topics: climate change, plastic pollution, biodiversity loss, or renewable energy. Each project should include a clear presentation and a functional model or prototype demonstrating the proposed solution.
All submitted projects will be reviewed by the school’s team, and the top five finalists will present their ideas at a special Earth Day event on 22 April. The winning entry will receive exclusive recognition and rewards.
The prize for the winner includes reduction of scholarship for the International School and free enrolment in one of the Distance Learning courses.
Important Dates:
1–21 April – Project submission period
22 April – Earth Day event: Top five presentations and winner announcement
To join the challenge or ask questions, please send your submissions to: info@iss.edu.rs
The application deadline is midnight on 21 April. Submissions sent after the deadline will not be considered.
With this initiative, International School encourages students to think critically, act responsibly, and innovate for a greener future – because the future they dream of starts with the choices they make today.
