Storytelling Workshop as Support for Academic and Personal Development
Biljana Manić held an inspiring workshop on storytelling skills for Year 9 students, aiming to develop these skills crucial for academic and personal progress. This workshop was organized within the framework of social science classes, under the coordination of Ms. Dunja Mayer and Ms. Marija Milić.
Developing communication skills through stories
Students had the opportunity to learn about storytelling techniques and the importance of storytelling in the context of developing their communication skills. Manić emphasized how storytelling skills not only help in expressing ideas and emotions but also in gaining confidence and articulation abilities.
The workshop was interactive, allowing participants to practice their skills through various stories and situations. This type of activity contributes to students’ broad education, encouraging them to develop their creativity, empathy, and understanding of different perspectives.
