Lower Secondary students had a unique opportunity to attend an interactive workshop which helped them learn basic business concepts and develop their creative ideas. The Business Canvas Model, presented in the form of a diagram, was specially prepared for them.

Analysing business models and identifying potential problems and opportunities for improvement

The students learned that many businessmen and entrepreneurs use this diagram which allows them to see how their business model will work and to identify the key success factors and challenges. Biljana Manić Stojanov, the presenter, showed International School students how they can apply Business Canvas to existing businesses, analyse their business models and identify potential problems and opportunities for improvement.

Lower Secondary students went through the whole business idea using practical examples and elaborated on them by segments. Working in groups, the students combined all the fields of the Business Canvas, filled them with their ideas and eventually came up with a unique business plan.

The workshop was practical, interactive and fun, but useful as well, and introduced students to the world of entrepreneurship.
