On Tuesday, the students of the International School went to the Cervantes Institute, which has been dealing with the preservation of Spanish culture, history and language for many years. This Institute operates successfully in over 80 different countries.
The spirit of Spain in Belgrade
They were welcomed at the institute by Juan, a Spaniard who works at the centre’s library. He talked to the students of the International School, asked them if they liked to read and what their reading preferences were. Accordingly, he showed them shelves in which they can find books in accordance with their taste, and at the same time they can improve their language skills when it comes to Spanish, since the library is rich in textbooks and books in this language. Juan also talked about Spanish film and directors, after which he showed the section of the library with books in Spanish for everyone’s taste.
Finally, the students and the teacher received a token of appreciation from the Institute.
