At International School, creativity knows no bounds. Under the guidance of Ms Nadežda Šućur, Year 7 and Year 8 students brought scientific concepts to life.
Year 7 students delved into the wonders of meteorology by creating clouds in a bottle during a demonstration exercise, fostering their understanding of atmospheric phenomena. Meanwhile, Year 8 students explored the fascinating world of plant biology by using natural materials to craft a paste and extract pigments. These practical experiments not only enhanced their grasp of science but also developed their problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
Creative teaching methods, like the ones implemented by Ms Nadežda, play a vital role in modern education. They inspire curiosity, encourage active participation, and make learning memorable. Research shows that hands-on activities help students retain knowledge more effectively and improve their ability to apply what they learn in real-world scenarios. By combining creativity and science, students gain not only academic knowledge but also a lifelong appreciation for discovery and innovation.
Our school is proud to support teaching practices that ignite passion and curiosity in young minds, preparing them for a future of learning and exploration!
