School stories

To celebrate March as the month of Francophonie, International School’s Year 10 and Year 11 students welcomed their peers from Savremena Gimnazija on 25 March for a special event dedicated to French language and culture.

The programme included discussions about the Francophone world, student presentations on Swiss cities, poetry readings of Baudelaire and Apollinaire, and beautiful live performances of French music by Ana Pešalj.

Guided by their teachers from International School and Savremena Gimnazija Marija Panić and Nemanja Peić, students had the opportunity to explore the rich world of French science, architecture, gastronomy, diplomacy, and art. The event was a wonderful opportunity for students to deepen their appreciation of Francophone culture and strengthen their language skills in a collaborative and engaging environment.
