School stories

A team of four talented students from International School – Jovana Ignjatović, Lara Cmolić, Sofija Blagojević, and Hana Jurenić – proudly represented our school in the Wharton Data Competition, participating in the Basketball Tournament Predictions Challenge under the team name Data Dunkers.

This prestigious competition, organized by the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, challenged students to analyze real-world basketball data and develop predictive models for tournament outcomes. Our students eagerly took on the challenge, applying their analytical skills and strategic thinking to forecast game results with precision.

Reflecting on their experience, the Data Dunkers were highly impressed by the competition’s organization and the opportunity to engage in such a dynamic and intellectually stimulating event. They believe that the forecasting skills they developed will be invaluable for future academic and professional challenges.

We commend Jovana, Lara, Sofija, and Hana for their dedication and enthusiasm in this prestigious competition!
