For years now, International School students have been helping those who need it the most. After providing the children from the Drop-In Centre with snacks back in November, some of the students from LINK kidZ & Youth Without Borders Community Club, with Tatjana Koluvija in charge, started their volunteering at the Drop-In Centre.
The children from the Drop-In Centre were beyond happy
After the initial meeting with the Drop-In Centre coordinator, who showed them the facility and the premises, our students met the children. The educator gathered them all and read the rules and regulations once again, and then they all had a lot of fun with fun board games. International School volunteers helped the children from the Drop-In Centre with their mathematical tasks and they also assisted them in writing letters. After serving them food, our students helped them clean the room.
The children were overjoyed, especially after finding out that every Saturday some International School volunteers will be there.
Building a happier society for everyone
Helping others is the first step in making the world a better place and improving the lives of those who aren’t as lucky as you. Helping others is not only a good deed and a good thing to do, but it makes us feel better and happier. By connecting with the children from the Drop-In Centre, International School students are working on creating stronger communities and helping to build a happier society for everyone.
