Aleksandra Strugar, a Mathematics teacher within the Lower Secondary programme, has made learning about geometry and angles easy and fun for Year 7 students. Students used online tools to digitally measure angles and draw their shapes.
Our students are learning Mathematics with ease
Students had to place their digitally generated measurements in a spreadsheet and then analyse the collected data together.
In another class, Year 8 students compared different methods of probability using a digital coin-flipping technique where they calculated the probability of heads and tails with each toss.
By connecting Mathematics and Digital Technology, our students learn with ease, as well as find a new purpose for technology in the classroom with the help of our dedicated teachers that are more than willing to guide them along the way.
