School stories

As part of their Gardening Project, Lower Secondary students at International School found a way to celebrate Women’s Day – by gifting the flowers they had carefully nurtured to their teachers.

Under the guidance of Business teacher Marija Milić, students have been growing plants as part of an interdisciplinary project designed to teach them important life skills such as decision-making, teamwork, and responsibility. This time they used their efforts to express gratitude and appreciation for the hardworking teachers who support them every day.

The thoughtful gesture was met with smiles and joy, as teachers were touched by the students’ kindness and dedication. Acts like these show that the Gardening Project is not only about learning how to care for plants but also about fostering a sense of community and appreciation.

Well done to our Lower Secondary students for making Women’s Day extra special this year!
