Remember how proud we were of the fact that Y12 student Petar Tomić showed amazing results and qualified for the final round? Well, Petar achieved an amazing result in the final round and has obtained the Overall Examination Result: Pass with Merit.

The Hippo English Without Borders competition is an international competition which promotes the English language, challenges students around the globe to compete and showcase their English skills, and improves cooperation between teachers. The competition encourages the development of a shared sense of identity and integration, and serves as a role model for young people living together as one community.

And yes, you’ve read that right – the International School student, Petar Tomić, obtained a C2 level certificate, according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. All of the components – speaking, writing, reading and listening – Petar mastered with ease and once again proved that we have many reasons to be proud of him!
