International School Savremena wishes to provide its students with various extracurricular activities. For this reason, Saturday, 3 March was dedicated to the Global HIPPO English language competition.
This was an opportunity for our students to express their knowledge and compete with their peers from around the world. Savremena promotes participating in various competitions since it can help the students in their future education, as well as in their time management skills, giving them a sense of true responsibility.
It has become a tradition for Savremena’s students to participate in the HIPPO English Without Borders competition, and International School Savremena takes pride in the fact that this year, out of 9 Savremena’s students who participated, Anja Gajić, Aleksandra Grbović Bitić and Petar Tomić qualified for the semi-final round of the competition.
Next stop on the road to success
Savremena’s students can look forward to the semi-finals held at the end of March, and ultimately the finals of the competition which will be held in May 2019, when they will have the opportunity to compete with their peers from other European countries, such as Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Cyprus, Greece, Macedonia, Montenegro, Slovenia and many more. The competition, organised by the HIPPO Association within Pearson International Qualifications, represents an excellent opportunity for all students to show their competence and knowledge.
