Global Perspectives teacher, Miloš Slavković, graduated from the Faculty of Philology at the University of Belgrade with a BA and MA in English Language, Literature, and Culture. In addition to his Bachelor’s and Master’s degree he also obtained a TEFL certificate and he also speaks Spanish. He worked for 3.5 years in a private language school in Belgrade as an English teacher and recruiter. Afterwards, he switched to online teaching where he worked with Chinese students for 4.5 years teaching English as well. Miloš is passionate about teaching because it allows him to be creative in a structured way.

His primary goal as an educator is to foster critical thinking in his students, helping them to analyze, question, and engage deeply with the material they study. He also puts an emphasis on integrating his students’ world knowledge and personal interests into conversation topics and other engaging classroom activities, thus creating positive and warm atmosphere. Miloš loves spending his free time with his friends, going out with them or traveling and, listening to music and, as an avid cinephile, watching movies (particularly from Pedro Almodovar).
