For the third year in a row, International School students had the opportunity to spend their summer break at the company LINKgroup, where they could acquire practical skills and knowledge through real tasks, and try out different positions and jobs.
This year, students Lana Lukić and Uroš Marković spent part of their summer break working in the positions of Marketing Assistant and Video Editor.
Lana has demonstrated a great desire to work and develop her skills in the field of marketing
Under the mentorship of Anđela Veljković, the Marketing Assistant at LINKgroup, Lana had the chance to familiarise herself with various procedures for working in a modern business environment. She also worked on actual business tasks such as the implementation of external marketing campaigns, and managing web portals and social media.
Lana’s mentor is especially proud of her work ethic and responsibility: “Lana has demonstrated a great desire to work and develop her skills in the field of marketing, as well as responsibility in performing the tasks entrusted to her. She has also shown exceptional readiness for teamwork, as well as a great aptitude for independent work.”
Uroš had the opportunity to learn about the technical aspects of working on television and in production
Uroš, in the position of Video Editor, had the opportunity to learn about the technical aspects of working on television and in production. He also dealt with real tasks in editing and producing video content, both on the field and in the studio. Uroš’s mentor, Dragana Knežević, a journalist and Executive Manager of eduTV educational television, noticed Uroš’s talent for photography and a newly discovered gift for editing: “As a mentor, I am very proud of Uroš – a smart, talented, and cultured young man. I believe that this internship broadened his horizons, opened up the possibility to think about video editing in a more creative way, and encouraged him to continue developing his skills.”
We are incredibly proud of our students and wish them much success in further developing their practical knowledge!
