Year 9 students recently had the incredible opportunity to participate in a unique Robotics workshop, organised as part of the European Code Week, a celebration of coding and robotics. The workshop was organised by their Robotics teacher, Maja Milosavljević, who invited a special guest, Tanja Olear Gojić, the coordinator of children’s projects at Mensa Serbia, representative of Science on Stage and Code Week, founder of UčenIQ, and coordinator of children’s robotics workshops at the Serbian-Korean Centre.
During the workshop, each student created their own LEGO model and programmed it using tablets and the Spike app. This experience allowed students to apply their coding and engineering skills in a fun and creative way. The class was truly special, and students were thrilled with the opportunity to learn from such an esteemed guest. The workshop was part of a broader initiative to encourage students to explore STEM fields and develop essential skills for the future.
